Matthew Tkachuk Declined These TWO HUGE Offers From The Calgary Flames..
Matthew Tkachuk is seriously upset about Johnny Gaudreau's departure in Calgary and has informed the club he will not be re signing long term and he is likely to be out the door this week. The Calgary Flames are officially falling apart after Gaudreau left to be closer to home, in Columbus.
The St.Louis Blues offered promising prospect Jordan Kyrou, defenseman Torey Krug and a first round pick. St.Louis declined, the value that will be coming in for Tkachuk will be very large, just to acquire his rights.
After declining that offer the Calgary Flames offered Tkachuk the captain role of the team, Tkachuk declined. They then offered him a 8 year offer at $11 PLUS million per season, he also declined. His time is officially done in Calgary as clearly money is not his most worry- declining a near $90 million dollar deal..
