Matthew Tkachuk Recorded a Touching Message For Rival Teams Good Luck Charm Ben Stelter
Ben Stelter is five years old and battling stage 4 brain cancer. Ben went through chemo and radiation sessions to remove the brain tumor, but it came back in December.
Ben had to return for cancer treatment. The Oilers got word of what was happening and invited Stelter to their game against San Jose at Rogers Place-which is where the relationship all started!
Since, Ben has been with the Edmonton Oilers through thick and thin as well as cheering them on each and every game day that he can watch.
Ben was also around and present for the entire 8 GAME WIN STREAK the Oilers had to finish off the regular season, since he's been granted the status of being their good luck charm.
The battle of Alberta is one heck of a heated rivalry, but that didn't stop Calgary Flames forward
Matthew Tkachuk from cheering on Ben.
