Milan Lucic Breaks The Silence on His Next Destination in The NHL
Milan Lucic, who had a successful run with the Calgary Flames for the past four seasons, experienced regular postseason play but missed out on another Stanley Cup victory.
Recently, he won a gold medal at the IIHF World Hockey Championship. In a recent interview, Lucic expressed his interest in playing for his hometown team, the Vancouver Canucks, if they show interest in him as an unrestricted free agent.
Milan Lucic on if he has interest in Vancouver if he is a UFA on July 1st : It is every hometown boys dream to play for the hometown team. We will see what happens if they call.
Lucic began his junior hockey career with the Vancouver Giants, so ending his career with the Canucks would be a fitting conclusion. While it remains speculative, Lucic plans to continue playing after his current contract expires.
