Last season the Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson made a couple massive trades at the NHL Draft in Montreal.

The first trade sent Kirby Dach to the Montreal Canadiens for a first and second round draft pick. Davidson then shipped off the Blackhawks leading goal scorer, Alex Debrincat, for three draft picks, including the No. 7th overall, along with a 2nd round pick in the 2022 draft and also a third round pick in 2024's draft.

Looking back at the deal some fans felt it wasn't enough for the caliber of a player that Debrincat has become, while other's felt the Senators over paid. The NHL trade deadline is coming up fast Blackhawks fans are wondering if they could get any other deals similar to the Debrincat Trade this year?

Well from the way Hockey Insider Frank Seravalli describe things it doesn't look like there will be any trades like the Debrincat one for any team, and he believes the Senators lost out big time on the DeBrincat deal.

Seravalli: "It's impossible for the #GoSensGo to recoup the same assets they traded for Alex Debrincat. Teams knew this was going to be the situation with the player heading into the season, thats why the Blackhawks had to settle for that package in the first place."

There's no doubt players like Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane if he's healthy enough, Max Domi and others will fetch the Blackhawks some nice returns, just don't expect teams to overpay.
