NHL Coaches Arrests Video Gets Leaked Online and It's Going Viral
Reports surfaced during All Star Weekend on February 1st that Andrew Brunette, former head coach for the Florida Panthers and current assistant coach for the New Jersey Devils, had been arrested and charged with DUI. Brunette allegedly operated a golf cart while intoxicated, leading to his arrest.
Recently, footage of the arrest has been released online, shedding more light on the incident. The video shows police initiating a traffic stop after Brunette failed to stop at a stop sign. After conducting an investigation, the police determined that Brunette was under the influence of alcohol.
During a field sobriety test, Brunette attempted to leave the scene and call his lawyer. However, the police intervened and decided to place him under arrest. The video also shows one officer warning Brunette against resisting arrest.
