NHL Network Reporter Reveals Huge News That The Blackhawks May Want to Look at
With fresh signings like Ryan Ellis, Cam Atkinson, Tony DeAngelo, and Nic Deslauriers, Philadelphia Flyers supporters and even the organization had high hopes entering into the 2022-23 season. Flyers supporters had optimism that things may change with this group-coached by veteran John Tortorella.
Do we really need to explain the Ryan Ellis scenario given how rapidly things went wrong? The Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher compared it to Nolan Patrick, who would probably never play hockey again after suffering "several" injuries that had never happened before.
This blowout of a season for the Flyers has raised question in many areas, to the point where an NHL reporter by the name of Larry Brooks thinks the Flyers may drop a huge bomb and buyout their top point scorer, Kevin Hayes.
Buying out Kevin Hayes? Is this a joke, why not trade him away? Well, no teams will even be looking close to Hayes' $7.4 million dollar contract which only expires when he is nearly 40 years of age, unless it is a team who is rebuilding and would receive compensation for taking on a player like Hayes.
By all means Kevin Hayes is not bad, in matter of fact he is on pace for his best NHL season so far throughout his ten-year NHL stint.
