NHL Organization Announces That They Are Changing Their Logo Temporarily
As expansion teams go, the Seattle Kraken is becoming a model for a successful expansion in short order. Gone are the days of an NHL expansion team coming in and being dreadful to their fanbase for many years with multiple losing seasons and no hope of gaining traction to get into the playoffs.
The NHL finally learned their lessons from the Senators, Ducks and other organizations, they have given teams like Seattle a chance to develop quickly and become a contender.
The $650 million price tag for entering this league and renovating the old Key Arena complex warrants a competitive market.
The Kraken, recognizing that the Seattle area is one of the nicest looking areas in the United States has decided to change their jerseys and logo to recognize and dedicate a game called Green Night.
As NHL jerseys are a hot commodity for fans to purchase, it doesn't surprise me that the Seattle Kraken decided to jump into it and start to add more jerseys to their lineup.
The Blackhawks will be at home for their next game and will face their long-time rival the St Louis Blues. Game time will be at 8:30 PM eastern on March 30th.
