This high hit last night from Nathan MacKinnon on Nolan Patrick forced him to leave the game and not return. Patrick has a history of head injuries, primarily concussion and Migraine issues.
MacKinnon received a 2-minute interference penalty on this play, but there was a lot of speculation this morning that he could be receiving some supplementary discipline from the league.
But according to this insider, it does not seem like that will be the case!
