NHL veteran retires after 7 years in the league
With only seven years of NHL experience behind him, Joonas Donskoi has decided to call it a career.
In the 2021-2022 season, Donskoi only played 75 games with the Seattle Kraken, his last club.

As the reason for his exit from the NHL, Donskoi cites multiple concussions, most recently on September 29th, 2022 after exiting a pre-season game against the Vancouver Canucks.
Having suffered 7 concussions, he felt it was time to retire from the league, taking into account his health and his family.
Donskoi skated in 474 NHL games, putting up 80 goals and 128 assists for 208 points.
