You have to give the Ottawa Senators General Manager Pierre Dorian credit he's a risk taker. He's willing to make bold trades whether they work or not he's always willing to try.
The Ottawa Senators currently have the 7th overall pick in the upcoming NHL draft July 7th in Montreal, but The Senators Gm wants to make a package and see if anyone wants to make a deal.
Dorian's plan is to trade his 7th overall pick along with goaltending Matt Murray for either a better pick in or possibly for a big time player.
Murray went 5-12-2 with a 3.05 goals against and a .906 save percentage this season. Murray hasn't panned out the way the Senators were hoping for and a change of scenery could be just what Murray needs to turn his career around.
