Throughout the years in the National Hockey League fans and players have developed a knowledge of certain franchises who treat players very well OR very poorly, the Vegas Golden Knights certainty of respect was in question after they traded Marc-Andre Fleury to the Chicago Blackhawks, where Fleury was told he would not be moved and even considered retirement after being done dirty by the Knights.

Now we have Max Pacioretty who was traded for nothing in return, who the Knights had to trade promising prospect Nick Suzuki and proven veteran Tomas Tatar for.. makes some question how toxic of a environment Vegas really is. As bladesofsteel.com referenced that multiple NHL executives stated Vegas takes the ''It is a business'' game aspect way too far and serious.

New info was released in a article done by The Athletic, and a players agent stepped forward with the following information..

Vegas treats you great until they dont. They've gone from the team of opportunity, the 'golden misfits' or whatever, to the 'evil empire. As an agent, you have to warn your guy that he's expendable as soon as his salary doesn't fit with the plan. Look at what happened with (Marc-Andre) Fleury. I think as long as they win they'll avoid problems, but if they have a losing season, watch out.

This leaves a fresh expansion team (Vegas) in question of their respect to players and they will have to change there mindset if they want a happy group of players which will lead to a championship if done right.
