They call back too many goals. Whether it's offside or accidental interference, too many gets called back.
Three goals were called back in the New Jersey Devils vs Toronto Maple Leafs game, which got to the point where Devils fans started throwing debris on the ice and at the Leafs players. All three were against New Jersey. One offside, two goalie interferences.
Two goals were called back in the meeting between the New York Rangers and the Edmonton Oilers. Both of them were called back on the Rangers, however, fans did not throw debris on the ice and at Oilers players. Both of these call backs are outrageous to me. One of them was Artemi Panarin was barely offsides. Of course, he was offsides, but back then we would let it slide. What happened to that? The other goal someone accidentally touched the skate of Jack Campbell, and it was called back. It didn't even stop him from making the save.
One goal from Andreas Athanasiou was called back as well in the Jets vs Hawks game. The game has changed, but we need to rethink a couple things about this rule. I don't even think people know what goalie interference or a good goal is anymore, it's just so confusing.
