Report - Bad News For Blackhawks Jonathan Toews as he's missing from practice
The Chicago Blackhawks continue their road trip across the US tonight against the New Jersey Devils who are red hot, the two teams are quite the opposite in terms of rankings- the Blackhawks are bottom in their division as the Devils are on top.
The Chicago Blackhawks were already underdogs for tonight's matchup, but now it appears the Blackhawks have taken a big hit regarding captain Jonathan Toews.
Jonathan Toews was one skater absent from the Chicago Blackhawks practice this morning and is out with a ''unconfirmed illness'', he is likely out of tonight's game.
Head coach Luke Richardson stated the following after practice:
''He woke up feeling like he had the flu, we want to keep him away from the other players, if he can get some food in him and maybe feel better we will seem he will be a game-time decision''.
Praying for a speedy recovery captain!
