Seth Jones Makes History at The NHL All-Star Game
The Chicago Blackhawks fan base erupted just over one month ago when it was announced that defensemen Seth Jones would be representing the Chicago Blackhawks organization at this years NHL All-Star Game and not superstar forward Patrick Kane. Both Kane and Jones have had solid seasons, and even if Kane was elected to go there has been word that he would pass up on the offer due to his recent injuries endured this season.
Despite Jones' production being 50% down from last year he still manages to find himself within the top 5 point leaders on the Chicago Blackhawks, and is leading all-6 of Blackhawks defensemen in points.
Jones took the All-Star game opportunity as humble as a person could and is livin' it up!
Jones has also hit a milestone that many players can't say they've came close to reaching, being the top defensemen in point totals throughout 3-on-3 All-Star overtime history. Also third in points behind Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon.
No defenseman has notched more goals or points in the 3-on-3 #NHLAllStar format than Seth Jones.
