Seventeen Year Old Promising Prospect Has Sadly Passed Away at The Age of 17

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Drummondville Voltigeurs defensemen Francis Durocher has passed away due to his fight with Leukemia.
Durocher was just seventeen years of age and was panned out to have a very promising hockey career ahead of him after being drafted to the QMJHL.
The Drummondville Voltigeurs have released the following statement:
On behalf of all the Voltigeurs players, staff, volunteers and partners, we offer our sincere condolences to the family and to Francis' loved ones.
We offer our condolences to the friends, family and loved ones affected by this saddening news and send our prayers to everybody out there, alongside those fighting through similar things currently.
