Kirby Dach was apart of a lot of off-season trade rumours when he was with the Chicago Blackhawks, before those rumours came to life. The young forward who was the former third overall pick was traded to the Montreal Canadiens on July 7th in exchange for the thirteenth overall pick and a later on 50 plus overall draft pick.
Dach has recently received tons of back-lash from the Canadiens fan base, that is sure one downside of playing in Montreal. Dach's first preseason game looked quite messy, he looks out of place and showed zero confidence with the puck, but that can be expected during a players first game with a fresh organization- especially coming from the Chicago Blackhawks.
Dach received tons of hate on social media after his first game with the Habs. In his second game, Dach was a victim of a nasty sucker punch given by the Winnipeg Jets defensemen Logan Stanley, who stands at a whopping 6-foot 7.
Is this worthy of a suspension?
