Alex Galchenyuk was released from his PTO with Colorado Wednesday, however Puck Empire on Instagram revealed to us first that this is due to a long term injury.
One commenter on the post had stated Jared Bednar will be in touch once Galchenyuk is healthy.
Prior to the PTO, Galchenyuk has been a bit of a journeyman playing for Pittsburgh, Montreal, and Arizona, with him joining the Coyotes in 2 Different stints.
The 28 year old has put up 354 career points in 643 career games, slightly above .5 points a game.
Though the injury leaves him in question, Alex could still be quite the successful secondary scorer.
