The Vancouver Canucks are off to a horrendous start to the season and it seems as if they have contradicted their own actions more times then none.

The contradicting being done by head coach Bruce Boudreau has been very basic up until last night, where Bruce went a little overboard and fans are calling it the ''worst decision of the season''.

Before the Vancouver Canucks played last night they took ice early morning for their pre-game skate as usual, but forward Brock Boeser noticed something unusual, his name was not on the teams' white board inside the locker room for lineups that night.

The decision to bench Brock Boeser is not much of a big deal, but for the kind of day it was on Saturday, it was more then a big deal for Boeser.

Brock Boeser's father lost his battle with cancer this off-season and Brock was heartbroken as any would, Brock stated his dad was his coach, best friend and more than a dad.

Last night was Hockey Fights Cancer night, and for the first time this year Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau decided to bench Boeser. Boudreau called his decision to scratch Boeser ''tough love''...

''It was a very important game for me and my family, so when I came in this morning and my name wasn't on the white board it hurt - it hurt bad.'' Said Boeser, in relation to being a healthy scratch for the first time this season.

The Canucks put him back into the lineup last second, switching up Boesers emotions once again, where he would go on to score the game winning goal.

The Canucks stated they have now given permission for Boeser to speak to other teams regarding a trade.
