The Battle of Alberta May be a Blood Bath Tonight After Evander Kane's Comments..
Aside from all of the goals scored (a whopping 15) in game one in the Battle of Alberta, breaking a NHL record for most goals scored in a playoff game-their was also something else going on, the Oilers and their top guns taking a worn-down beating.
McDavid, Nurse, Draisaitl, Hyman and more seemed to be targeted as they are Edmonton's top players which to Calgary it's their gritty players job to wear down top players.
One of the main issues of that is that the Oilers did not do the same back, Calgary's top players mainly played freely throughout the game letting them go on a offensive tear scoring a whopping 9 goals on Edmonton.
Aside from the Oilers not doing the same as Calgary we still saw plenty of bad blood boiling up with fights and scrums. This morning Evander Kane made it quite clear it's time to go after their top guns if they are doing the same..
