The Blackhawks' Top Prospect Continues to Show Very Similar Play-Style to Patrick Kane
The Blackhawks have a pretty deep prospect pool, but most of them are defensemen not forwards. One of their top prospects, forward Lukas Reichel scored a nasty goal in the shootout for the IceHogs that looked identical to one of Patrick Kane's shootout goals, take a look below to see!
Reichel plays for the Rockford IceHogs in the AHL, and is currently averaging a point per game season.
Reichel has gotten the chance to play at the NHL level being called up a couple of times. He has only played a total of 15 games with the Blackhawks putting up 1 point in 2021-22 and 3 points in 2022-23. These aren't crazy numbers but he is only 20 and still has plenty of time to develop in the AHL.
The Blackhawks prospect is a German native and back in 2020 he would go onto represent his country at the World Juniors where he would go on to put up 5 points, 3 of them being goals in 7 games played.
