If your last name is Dach it's probably not good to be drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks. After drafting big brother Kirby Dach 3rd overall in 2019, they traded him to this past summer.
The Blackhawks could be losing another Dach in Kirby's little brother Colton Dach. The 20 year-old has had two concussions and played Just 17 games in the WHL this season is as well as a shoulder injury suffered a leg injury.
"Chicago Blackhawks second round pick Colton Dach seemed to injure his leg in the latter stages of the second period. He needed assistance to return to the locker room during a break in play."
Colton Dach was the Blackhawks 2nd round pick in the 2021 62nd overall and the Hawks have high hopes for Dach. But many are concerned that Dach may have to retire due to all the injures and concussion issues.
As for Colton's older brother Kirby Dach he too is out with an injury.
