NHL insider Elliot Friedman first revealed that the Chicago Blackhawks declined a large offer last week that they receive in regards to Alex DeBrincat:
Some teams may be thinking that is a insane price to pay for a forward, but is really isn't. The Blackhawks nearly got the same return for forward Brandon Hagel who was traded before the last NHL trade deadline, and he has been extremely underwhelming for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Fast forward one week and Elliot Friedman has once again reported that the Blackhawks have receive another large offer for the 'cat'' as Blackhawks fans would call DeBrincat, and the Blackhawks have once again kindly declined.
This trade consisted of:
-A top 10 draft pick
-Another 1st round draft pick
-A high scouted prospect
It is very clear Kyle Davidson is not in a rush to move DeBrincat, and Chicago Blackhawks fans couldn't be more than happy to hear a trade has yet to happen.
