The Coyotes Gave Away Over $950,000 At Their Last Home Game - They Did What!?
The Arizona Coyotes have been struggling to get fans to their games this year. They are in a stadium that holds 5,000 seats and are only averaging 4,600 fans at a game.
So to draw some fans, they did a promotion that is extremely generous to the Coyotes' faithful fans.
Yep, you see that correctly. The Coyotes gave away a retro-reverse jersey to every fan in attendance.
On the Adidas website, the same jersey is listed at $190. Multiply that by 5,000 and it comes out to the Coyotes giving put $950,000 in retail value to their fans.
That is some serious dedication to maintaining a relationship between the fans and the team.
Props to the ownership for willing to spend some money for the fans.
