The Most Legendary Group of Blackhawks Gather With The Cup (video)
Marian Hossa received the first of reportedly ''many'' Blackhawks jerseys to be retired within the next few years to come. Hossa's jersey retirement night took place on Sunday night, where the Blackhawks took on the Pittsburgh Penguins and sadly did not pull through with a win for Hossa.
Hossa joined Tony Esposito, Stan Mikita, Denis Savard, Bobby Hull, Keith Magnusson, Pierre Pilot and goaltender Glenn Hall in the category of retired jersey numbers, some true Blackhawks legends on there, and still some who are missing.
Honourable mentions to former Blackhawks who deserve to have their jersey number retired are Duncan Keith, Brent Seabrook, Niklas Hjalmarsson and Steve Larmer to name a few.
Three out of those four names listed above were in attendance for Hossa's jersey retirement ceremony, and the Blackhawks may have captured the most historic photo in Blackhawks history..
