Phil Kessel holds the longest current ''iron man'' streak for most games played in a row at 1,015 games which is truly impressive, but one reveals it may be hurting organizations more then benefiting them.

Kessel's average of ice time per night has declined drastically this season and is now around eleven minutes per night, and against the Buffalo Sabres Kessel only grazed the ice for 8 minutes, with fourth line players getting more ice time.

It's beggining to look like the Knights are soon to be benching Phil Kessel as they will be having healthy players returning shortly..

Guys on Insider Trading talking about how Phil Kessel's iron man streak could soon come to an end, he only played a handful of shifts in yesterday's loss to Buffalo, once Vegas gets some healthy bodies back, he could potentially become a healthy scratch.

As mentioned Kessel only grazed the ice for 8 minutes of time against the Buffalo Sabres but he will managed to be a -2 on the night, letting in two goals throughout his very little amount of shifts that game.
