With the selection of Connor Bedard 1st overall in the draft, the Chicago Blackhawks appear to be ascendant, and their fortunes have changed as they select a generational talent.

Despite the fact that the team had five nationally televised games last season, the NHL is showing a lot of love to the team this season.

Even more interesting, they have more games on national television this season than the Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs!

Blackhawks have 13 games on national TV:

5 on ESPN:

10/19 at Avs
10/24 vs Bruins
12/12 at Oilers
2/29 vs Avs

5 on TNT:

It is good news for the Original Six franchise since things have started looking good for them since July. This year, the franchise will have thirteen nationally televised games.

The Blackhawks will be playing a number of their games this year on ABC, TNT, HULU, and ESPN+, but this year they will be getting their due in the form of television coverage.
