The Seattle Kraken had their first NHL season and despite not having a winning record the overall reaction from fans in Seattle and around the league has been very positive.
However Seattle Kraken General Manager wants to improve his team and wants to add some star power also. According to Hockey insider Nick Kypreos the Seattle Kraken are very interested in pending UFA Nazem Kadri.
The Kraken are rumoured to be looking to sign Kadri to a deal that could be possibly worth 10 million dollars annually and over a 7 year deal.
Nazem Kadri was drafted 7th overall back in 2009 by the Toronto Maple Leafs but unfortunately his style clashed with management and was eventually traded to the Avalanche. Kadri has the best year of his career scoring 28 goals and 87 points this season.
The 31 year old is looking to make that paper after his current Contract is ending that paid Kadri $4.5 million annually. Kadri would be a huge catch for the Kraken if they indeed make a deal.
