With the preseason underway (finally) fans are excited to see their teams back in action. Most or all teams will be debuting new players, new coaches, even a new arena. But the St. Louis Blues decided this was the time for a new goal celebration.
The Blues had their first preseason tilt Saturday evening against the Arizona Coyotes. A game which was played at the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita KS. Yes really, KANSAS!
The Blues won the game 5-4 in front of the Kansas crowd that may seem like a surprise market to most for an NHL game. But for preseason action the score and location will take a backseat to this goal celebration, which can only be described as a disco-esque scene. But boy was it dark in there!
