When the Toronto Maple Leafs had Tie Domi in their lineup they were a force to be reckoned with. You knew if you took a cheap shot a Mats Sundin you could guarantee Domi would be coming for you.
The Leafs now are very talented with Matthews, Marner, Tavares, and Nylander but are missing that grit that good teams possess. However there's a player that could add more grit and can put the puck in back of the net at the same time and his last name is very well known.
That player is son on former NHL tough guy Tie Domi I'm talking none other then Max Domi. According to Sportsnet's resident Hockey Insider Elliotte Friedman Max Domi could possibly be heading to Leafs Nation. Like father, like son except son is a better player offensively.
Domi, 27, had 11 goals and 28 assists in 72 games split between the Columbus Blue Jackets and Carolina Hurricanes last season. Domi can play on your top 6 or bottom 6 and be highly effective.
