WATCH: Blackhawks Post Emotional TikTok Saying Goodbye to Kirby Dach
Kirby Dach is officially out the door as the Blackhawks fire sale began on Thursday July 9th at this years NHL entry draft, the Blackhawks received the 13th overall pick and another later pick for the 21 year old. Some may blame his development on the Chicago Blackhawks who are not the best reputable in the NHL as of late.
Kirby Dach got drafted by the Blackhawks and played in there world juniors for team Canada, where he completely broke his wrist and was out for the remainder of the season. Dach went from a broken wrist to hardly recovered, to 3 games in the AHL and then a full time NHL player- one of the youngest to ever play a game in the National Hockey League and be a full time roster member.
The Montreal Canadiens on the other hand seem to be developing players more proper than usual, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caulfield, Ryan Poehling and the list goes on!
All best wishes to Kirby and his time in Canada with the Canadiens, the Blackhawks posted a little goodbye message to Kirby Dach on TikTok, and it may be emotional for some fans- the game is much better than just on ice stats!
