These Goalies Have Dominated the Blackhawks
The Blackhawks have faced some tough goalies, but these guys just seem to have their number.
The goalie with the most wins over the Hawks is Terry Sawchuk with 109 wins in 193 games played against them, which isn't surprising considering there wasn't a lot of teams, plus the Hawks weren't very good.
Sawchuk also has 26 shutouts in his career against Chicago. Terry shares a Hall of Fame spot with Harry Lumley, who is just 33 games behind Sawchuk. Lumley was actually on the Blackhawks for two years (1950-1952).
The two recent goalies whom Chicago has struggled against are Andrei Vasilevskiy and Jonathan Quick. Quick has the most wins over the Hawks right now among active goaltenders, at 16, but has also lost 16 games. Vasilevskiy has a 13-0 career record against the Blackhawks.
