Fifty years ago today, Chicago Blackhawks great Bobby Hull scored his 50th goal of the season and his final goal for the Chicago Blackhawks. The goal was his 604th goal for the Blackhawks. It also represented the fifth time he scored at least 50 goals in a season. Following this game, he signed with the Winnipeg Jets of the World Hockey Association. Hull played 15 seasons with Blackhawks amassing 1,153 points- 604 goals and 549 assists. Hull averaged 77 points per season and won the Hart Memorial Trophy twice as the leagues best player and the Art Ross trophy as leading scorer three times. His hair, speed and style of play earned him the nickname "The Golden Jet." Recently, the Blackhawks organization removed him as ambassador of the club due to off ice issues. Regardless, his play will always earn him a spot as one of the Blackhawk greats.
