The Calgary Hitmen, of the WHL, have a wonderful tradition of tossing teddy bears on the ice following the team's first goal of the annual game.

The tradition is great for the community, as every teddy bear thrown on the ice is collected and used throughout the holiday season.

This year, the toss brought 20,294 teddy bears to children throughout local agencies that stride to create a wonderful Christmas season for children.

Check out the toss, as it is truly a wonderful scene.

The goal was scored by youngster, London Hoilett, who took the time to enjoy the bear that flooded the ice following his goal.
