When Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Ramus Sandin woke up today I'm sure he wasn't expecting his day to end as it did.
The 22 year-old went to practice with his teammates when the Toronto Maple Leafs would tell 'em get he is getting the boot, sending him to the Washington Capitals for former Blackhawks defenceman Erik Gustaffsson and a 2023 1st round pick.
It didn't seem like Sandin was too happy being traded, especially since Toronto looks like they could actually do some damage in the playoffs. Sandin would be seen walking with his buddy William Nylander as he said his goodbyes to his former team.
