The Toronto Maple Leafs are a team surrounded by controversy on the ice, and with a recent revelation from a young fan on the platform 'X' (formerly known as Twitter) it appears controversy is emerging of an off-ice interaction involving the teams star player, Mitch Marner.
According to this fan, he attended a public signing following the Maple Leafs open training camp/practice and was ignored of an autograph.
The fan stated that Marner decided to sign multiple items for a kid of different color.
'Bro this mf LOOKED me in my eyes at a signing after one of those open practice training camps, looked at the white kid beside me (same age btw), signed like three things for him and just completely walked past me and went to the next white kid'
There is no footage or source of this interaction aside from the boys word himself, but if true, it certainly is not a good look for Mitch Marner and the Toronto Maple Leafs organization.
