Two Avalanche Players Did Something Amazing When Given Time With The Cup
Ryan Murray of the Avalanche took time to visit the children at the Regina General Hospital during his day with the Stanley Cup, Darcey Kuemper did as well.
The Pattinson kids hospital tweeted the following:
'Lots of excitement at Saskatchewan's Jim Pattison Children's Hospital today, with Stanley Cup Champion Darcy Kuemper visiting families in hospital with the Cup in tow!''
'Patients, families, and staff received quite the surprise to have Darcy and the Stanley Cup arrive at their door this morning for autographs and photos with the Cup!'
'We are so grateful for special moments like this that can help bring smiles to SK kids' faces in hospital. A heartfelt THANK YOU to Darcy and his wife, Sydney, for thinking of the kids and families at JPCH and creating memories that will last a lifetime!'
Each player gets a single day with the Stanley cup throughout the summer, most eat poutines out of it, drink beer or even pull a Phil Kessel and eat a couple hot dogs, lol! But Darcey Kuemper and Ryan Murray had better priorities on their list of things to do with the cup! The awesome photos can be viewed here!
