Wayne Gretzky Calls Out Connor Bedard During LIVE Broadcast
In 13 games with the Chicago Blackhawks, Connor Bedard has 9 goals and 4 assists for 13 points.
Throughout his time with the Blackhawks, he has had to adjust his game in order to remain competitive.
His confidence has grown since then, and he plays with a "F**K you" attitude, according to teammate
Tyler Johnson.
Bedard did have one big fan today, though, and that was the Great One himself, Wayne Gretzky who had a soft spot for the rookie.
Bedard even better than we thought?!

Usually young guys don't want to be seen as selfish at the beginning of their careers, so Gretzky praised Bedard for not being afraid to shoot the puck.
It was mentioned by Gretzky that Bedard would shoot the puck but it would rarely go in, and he believed that Bedard would eventually gain confidence later on down the road after a difficult 7-game stint. Bedard, he felt, was not a selfish player on ice and that the hype around him is real.
How about that, some of the rookie's best compliments came from The Great One today.
