A very Embarrassing Post Involving forward Connor McDavid and It's Ridiculous
There was a post on the internet, and it's embarrassing for not only ESPN, but Connor McDavid.
We all know, how ESPN views hockey, as an ancillary sports to the NFL, MLB, and NBA.
The sports network owned by Disney, released a list of 100 best Athletes in the 21st century.
Of course, Connor McDavid would make an appearance.
McDavid's ranking would be 98th(!!!) of 100 of the best Athlete's in the 21st century according to ESPN.
McDavid is considered to be one of the best hockey players in the world, and one of the best in the 21st Century.
But this ranking at 98 is disrespectful to Connor McDavid, as he is the best player in the NHL and there's none yet to clear him, unless
Connor Bedard becomes just as good in the future.
Even making the Stanley Cup Finals didn't push him higher, which is unbelievable and shameful by ESPN.
ESPN shamefully put McDavid alongside NFL Defenseman Ed Reed, who was respectively good at his craft, but not the iconic athlete that 97 is.
Even David Staples is amazed to see many WNBA players above McDavid on the list, as it is extremely difficult to dominate the game of hockey.
The 27-year-old center, has 982 points in 645 NHL games, and 117 points scored in 74 playoff games.
