The hockey world continues to mourn the loss of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau and information is slowly trickling out about the man who committed this heinous act.

Sean Higgins, who struck the brothers in rural New Jersey with his vehicle has a questionable past.

He himself allegedly ran an alcohol and treatment facility in Pennsylvania, according to Jeff Gould on X.

Sean Higgins, who was allegedly drinking before he got in the driver's seat of his vehicle was arrested Thursday night. He was charged in two counts of death by auto and would show no remorse for his actions in court. He seemed more troubled by the fact he'd be in jail by next week as well.

There are court records detailing his arrest on Thursday:

- Unsafe lane change
- Improper passing
- Open container alcohol or unseal cannabis in motor vehicle
- Consume alcohol beverage or cannabis item in motor vehicle
