"While the Chicago Blackhawks are still holding on to hope of landing a playoff spot, there's some hope in the prospect pipeline. The Blackhawks received some good news receiving one of their defensive prospects. 2018 first round pick Nicolas Beaudin has been nominated as one of the best defensemen in the QMJHL. The 19 year old put up 56 points in 53 games for the Drummondville Voltigeurs and finished the season a +60.
