Blackhawks Connor Bedard gets absolutely demolished with bone-crushing hit by Coyotes Matt Dumba
In last nights game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Coyotes, Connor Bedard was in the spotlight again.
He's been dealing with tough play from other teams lately, and last night was no different.
Coyotes defenseman Matt Dumba delivered a hard hit that sent Bedard crashing into the boards.
Bedard was carrying the puck and trying to make a pass when Dumba hit him. It was a rough collision, and Bedard ended up on the ice. Luckily, he got up quickly and didn't seem hurt.
What's surprising is that none of Bedard's teammates stepped in to defend him. There was no fight or anything to back him up.
It's strange and makes you wonder about the team's support for their young player, and if an enforcer should be acquired by the Blackhawks to protect the 18-year old.
