"It hasn't been the experience he was hoping for and now it's over. Forward Adam Gaudette came over to the Chicago Blackhawks during the offseason as he was looking for more playoff time than he had with the Vancouver Canucks. Unfortunately things just haven't worked out for Gaudette as he's played in just 8 games so far this season. Yesterday the Blackhawks tried to help him out by placing him on waivers so he could either find a new home or play every night for Rockford. Fortunately for Gaudette he's sticking around in the NHL as he was claimed by the Ottawa Senators.
