"The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman announced some roster moves on Monday. They're cutting down the roster ahead of the opener and placed four players on waivers today. The Blackhawks have placed Anton Lindholm, John Quenneville, Nick Seeler and Matt Tomkins on waivers.
