"The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman have made it clear that they're going through a bit of a rebuild. The team is looking to keep it's veterans around and at the same time bring in some young prospects to start a bit of a youth movement. Something that will be important is developing the youngsters for head coach Jeremy Colliton's system and it looks like the Hawks have found their man. The Chicago Blackhawks have hired Kendall Coyne Schofield as the player development coach and youth hockey growth specialist.
Coyne Schofield was a big part of the US Women's Hockey teams that have had success over the last couple of years. «It's long overdue. These women are good hockey minds & it's important to give them chances to take on bigger roles over the coming years» Bowman said through press release.
