The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman made a roster announcement on Thursday. Chicago placed forward John Quenneville on waivers at noon. The 23 year old forward had the chance to make the team in a depth role however wasn't able to grab the opportunity. He's got 33 NHL games under his belt and has registered five points. Quenneville was selected in the first round of the 2014 Draft by the New Jersey Devils.
