"The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman have been completely silent so far this trade deadline. Over the weekend it was reported that the Blackhawks and Carolina Hurricanes were working on a blockbuster trade. The Hawks were expected to be sending goalie Robin Lehner and defenseman Erik Gustafsson to the Hurricanes. However according to Scott Powers of The Athletic, the Hurricanes have pulled out of the deal. We'll see if Bowman can still move them for some assets before the official deadline at 3PM EST.
Source says the Hurricanes are likely out on Gustafsson and Lehner as of right now. — Scott Powers (@ByScottPowers) February 24, 2020
