Chicago Bears star Caleb Williams makes a big purchase: A $12.9 Million Home
The 1st overall pick by the Bears signed a $39.5 million total contract, with a four-year term.
The contract comes with a fifth-year option and a $25.5 Million signing bonus. He may have issues currently with the team, but this move suggests he plans on being with the Bears long-term.

So signed to a fat contract-but on a relatively short leash-Williams shouldn't splurge on Lake Forest's most expensive listing.
A $13 million mansion landed on the market just two weeks ago and offers an array of baller-worthy details, including a sport court; a synthetic, indoor ice rink; and a luxurious, wood-paneled office with views of Lake Michigan. It's a statement home without a doubt, but a rookie probably should shy away from this caliber of home.
The estate itself is just a drive from the Bear practice facility, which is awfully convenient for the QB.
The mansion itself is beautiful, has a palatial look to it, and has an amazing look out on the water for Williams to relax and recover during the off-season.
This isn't Williams' only real estate in town either:
Part of the reason why I wanted to blog this story is because I don't think people nationally understand how incredibly beautiful the north shore of Chicago is. There's a ton of properties like this up there across Winnetka, Lake Forest, Highland Park, etc. That home looks like it is on Lake Como, not Lake Michigan.
That is a 30 minute drive from downtown Chicago (when there's no traffic. Caleb can zip down RT41 to his high rise apartment downtown that he also apparently owns. The guy is becoming a real estate mogul here. Imagine what he will do with his next contract. He might buy the Sears Tower at that point.
Williams currently in his 1st season in the NFL has a 26.8 QBR, 630 passing yards, and 2 touchdowns in his first season in the NHL.
