Controversy Surrounding Forward Adam Gaudette.
"One of the Chicago Blackhawks' trade deadline acquisitions has found himself in a bit of controversy. There's some chatter circulating on why Gaudette was traded by the Vancouver Canucks and it's a pretty big and unjust accusation. According to various reports, the Canucks traded Gaudette at the deadline because he was "patient zero" of the massive Canucks COVID-19 outbreak. Gaudette isn't having it though. "Don't believe everything you read on Twitter. There's a lot of bullshit going around. A lot of disrespectful things said about my wife that are just not true."
Gaudette added that he's got a very solid relationship with everybody back in Vancouver and the accusations are baseless. The 24 year old has two points in two games since joining the Hawks.
