Former Chicago Blackhawk to lock in big contract with this team
An NHL Insider has reported on what the value could be for Max Domi's contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Max Domi was a free-agent acquisition by the Toronto Maple Leafs during the off-season. He was signed to a one-year "prove it" contract and will be a UFA again this summer. Brad Treliving and the Maple Leafs would ideally like to retain Domi if possible.
And according to Pierre LeBrun of TSN, the Toronto Maple Leafs are in talks to lockdown Max Domi with a long-term contract. The AAV could be upwards of $5-6 Million per year.
Domi, who is 29 played 80 games for the Toronto Maple Leafs posting 47 points( 9 G, 38 A) during the 2023-2024 regular season.
Domi's contract for the 2023-2024 season, was $3 Million AAV, which was also signed by Brad Treliving.
