Chicago Blackhawks development camp is underway with fans and analysts watching a variety of the Hawks' younger players.
Of course one that is high up on the list is forward Alex Nylander who the Blackhawks acquired in the
Henri Jokiharju trade with Buffalo.
Two years younger than his brother William who plays for the Maple Leafs, Alexander hasn't been able to put it together yet at an NHL level, the Hawks are hoping they can change that.
However one Blackhawks beat reporter isn't impressed at all by what Nylander brings to the table.
Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times went completely off on what he saw from Nylander so far at development camp.
"He looks slow, a step behind the play, on defense. And on offense, he's not noticeable without the puck and trying to get too fancy when he does have it."
He's only 21 years old and still has a chance to work on his game, but being slow and a step behind on defense is never a good thing.
